The First Uganda National Spelling Bee Competition is an exciting contest in which secondary school students all over Uganda will compete in spelling English words. Though wildly popular in many countries worldwide, it is a novelty in Uganda. The competition will involve thousands of secondary school teenagers from Senior 1 to 3 from all parts of the country competing in a national English spelling competition based on important social issues.

The thrilling competition will be watched on television by millions of Ugandans throughout this year.
